I wanna have the same last dream again

So words can not express how sorry I am for not using this thing! I forgot my password (total Kim moment) and I've been super busy!

Well first off, right when we got to LA we checked into our hotel, which took ages, literally. We got free breakfast vouchers for our patience though so that was nice. Our first day at X was pretty slow. Andrea and Chelsea got their credentials and paperwork filled out, etc.

I, on the other hand got the chance to watch the BMX Park Practice, where I saw Ryan Nyquist, Daniel Dhers, Dennis Enarson, Garret (last name? brown hair) and COUNTLESS other amazing riders. I pretty much got sunburned on my first day from sitting out there in the sun.

One of the BMX riders' Dad walked up to me and introduced himself and said he was from Texas as well (I was wearing my Miss Texas sash). We talked for a bit and I learned a lot about his son and BMX in general.

On my way back to meet Chelsea and Andrea, guess who I saw practicing on the vert ramp? Yupp. Shaun White. I wanted to go in but I couldn't figure out a way, which I'm completely regretting now because this day was closed to the public.

The second day was a lot like the first. I was able to watch a little of the FMX practices and I had a ticket for the mens skate street selection, where I sat front and center. The level of skating was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Ryan as a bit cocky, but that was to be expected. He did nail quite a handful of tricks so he qualified in 3rd place I believe. I got a glimpse of Chris Cole, last year's winner who was already safe from the qualifying rounds. Correy Duffel was really good and was dressed impeccably well. He's definitely the type of guy Viky would adore! All in all, the skate street was absolutely mind-blowing.

The third day was again, similar to the first (do we not see a pattern here?). I came and watched the Womens' Street Finals, which was really amazing. Those girls' level of riding is almost up there with the guys! Lacy Baker only got 4th, shy of a medal. Marissa del Santo won and she deserved it hands down.

Mens' Street Finals was extraordinary. Chris Cole of course, won again and he also took home a gold medal for Best Trick as well. The skating was amazing and I will NEVER get used to watching the guys practice at the skatepark at my rink again. Once you've seen good skating, nothing else can compare.

Shaun had a vert practice this day and luckily for me, I had a GORGEOUS front section view. He did well, not INCREDIBLY well, but well. He was falling here and there, but that was to be expected. Once, after he fell, he was headed my direction and he saw my Miss Texas sash and pointed at me and smiled. I was about to ask for an autograph and picture, but a volunteer stole him away from me. =[[ I was incredibly depressed.

There is a TON more that I need to say, but I've got to get going! Andrea, Chelsea, and myself are going site-seeing! Later guys!
